As a busy, nursing mama I am always looking for easy snacks to eat while I'm nursing or healthy options for my always starving 3 year old. We love fruits and veggies, muffins and our protein shakes but we're always searching for new snacks!
I have spent hours on Pinterest and in the kitchen trying so many different protein ball recipes!!
Every recipe I have tried has been too crumbly, too sticky, too peanut buttery (is that even a word?? Lol). You get the point! So I decided to take a few recipes and create my own!! And it worked!!

Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
3 cups of oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup coconut
1/2 cup of mixins (pumpkin seeds, pistachios, nuts)
1/3 cup chia seeds
1/2 scoop of protein powder (we used Isagenix Isalean Chocolate)
Directions:
1) In a large saucepan, combine the peanut butter and honey over a medium heat until well mixed together.
2) Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients.
3) Using a spoon, scoop out some dough and form balls.
4) Enjoy!

TIPS:
If you use traditional oats make sure to add extra peanut butter and extra honey.
I tried doing half honey and half maple syrup and it wasn't quite as sticky as just honey, so I would say stick to the honey!!
I froze half of the batch (approximately 12 balls) although I'm not sure they will make it long in there!
Have a great day!
