Keeping secrets from my sister is virtually impossible, so when our friends came to me and wanted to throw a baby sprinkle I was EXCITED!! The week sweet Hudson was born was a crazy one and this sweet bundle deserved to be CELEBRATED!

We decided on a high tea theme with great eats, yummy goodies and the best company! I used two fold-up tables from costco and some basic white table cloths. The table runners are from the florist section at Michaels paired with the sweetest green flower bunches. It added the perfect whimsical feel that I knew we needed, since 2 hours following this party I would have to transform my house into a Pokemon extravaganza, so the flower Photo Booth wall I really wanted was out.

The oversized candle holders added some height to the table with out using up too much space. Our great-grandmothers china was used and was my absolute favourite touch!!

We used the Happy book as the guestbook so hudson can look back on it for many years. I will not even try to take credit for those sweet sweet pastries, one of our dear friends picked them up from our favourite high tea shoppe and oh boy they sure didn't disappoint!

Big brother was so excited to have his 'famiwy' celebrating his new big brotherhood and of course he stayed nice and close to the paleo doughnuts from the Polly Fox (a local coffee shop in Abbotsford).

Let's talk cake, way back when I would bake all the things and I loved it, fast forward through single mommy hood and allergies those skills went adios! After googling, youtubing and interesting for hours I thought to myself how hard could a naked cake ACTUALLY be....I'll save the hastle it looks easy but ohhh noooo the less icing to cover up mistakes the trickier! It did however taste amazing and really that's all that matters right?

The Hudson banner was a kit from Michaels along with letter stickers ba-da-bing ba-da-boom the banner is complete and changeable. Stringing it together however was a feat in it's own, I think a slight oversight in production. The pom poms were made by yours truly and were the TOUGHEST part of this secret. My sister ALWAYS makes the pom moms for our parties so these absolutely tested my skills. I always have operated best under pressure, so alas I learnt how to do these pom poms!

Best of all sweet Hudson got to be celebrated and squished all morning long!!

We have such loving friends and family that came together to celebrate this beautiful new love of our lives!
