Birthday parties and outdoors are 2 of my favourite things! Find out how we planned an amazing Paw Patrol party outdoors!

Paw Patrol Outdoor Birthday Party
6 birthdays, Mother's day & Father's day just to name some highlights from the period in our lives known as Party month!!
As soon as May hits we are in party mode!! I'd like to say we are self-proclaimed party mama's! We spend months browsing Pinterest to find the perfect ideas to go with our themes and then many sleepless nights just days before the party to execute these grand ideas! Please tell us we aren't the only ones??
This year Grayson was torn between his two favourite things as a party theme: Hockey and Paw Patrol!
He eventually decided on Paw Patrol, which I initially had a hard time getting into as a theme! For his first birthday, we did a nice nautical theme to go with his June birthday. His second birthday was a monochromatic jungle themed. So I was hoping for something less... commercialized but we went with it and it was so fun!
It's safe to say that the week before Grayson's party we were all partied out!!
We made an executive decision to keep it simple and have his party at the brand new park beside our place, Oak Meadow Park. And we're so glad we did!!
Here's a breakdown of his party:
Food:

When we do parties there are a few must haves and those are: a fruit tray, a veggie tray, chips, Boom Chicka Pop, Veggie Straws and water.
For this Paw patrol party, we added bone and "3" sugar cookies, bone-shaped rice crispie's treats, bone-shaped cheese with sausage and crackers & bone-shaped sandwiches (egg salad & pb&j).
For the Cake, I didn't want something full of sugar as it goes against my values so I wanted to make something healthy and delicious and using Rubble as our focus for the decorations.
The cake was a Chocolate Zucchini cake (with 2 cups of zucchini! Score!) topped with a chocolate avocado icing.
We set up two folding tables and a blue table cloth to complete the look!

Special Guest
We invited Chase from Paw Pawlicious to join us and he was the highlight of the party! The kids got to dance, kick a soccer ball & toss a football with Chase from Paw Patrol. All followed by a "Pawparazzi" of parents! I would highly recommend hiring them for birthday entertainment. Here is there information for your next party.

Loot Bags

(Loot bags included chalk, play dough, bubbles, water gun, stickers with a thank you card from this free printable!)
Decor:
Because we were outside, we kept the decor really simple!
We did blue table cloths on the food and drink tables. We used some of our Paw Patrol toys as decor, so on the drink table we used the Air Patroller and the Paw Patroller was perfect to hold the cups, plates, napkins and cutlery. On the food table we added the look out tower as a centre piece. We also had some Paw Patrol balloons from Party City!
I made a custom "Happy Birthday Grayson" banner but forgot to take a picture! I cut out blue and red card stock (from Michaels) and used adhesive letters from Walmart. Finally, I single hole punched 2 holes in the top of each banner and strung string through the top!
I made these from some Ikea frames I had leftover from my wedding (I knew there is a reason I can't get rid of anything lol!) with this printable mounted on coloured paper.
